Swapped Allotment for The Yard

Was an OK day but as it was dry got down to painting and tidying the back yard instead.

Bought some replacement plants for the climbers I lost last winter and any big bushes are now home on my allotment in the wildlife patch (trying to encourage birds!). The troughs were moved and cleaned out of old plants and I re-potted the Acer into a very large square pot.

Went down to check on the lotty - all good and a few seedlings are up. The greenhouse lettuce is getting big now too. However, we had rain, hail and snow today with a top temp of 2°C to 3°C - no muddy action on the plot then. On the upside - all the winter jobs are done and everything is ready for spring.
