New Zealand Adventure & Spring Seed Sowing

Well I have been to New Zealand and back. It was a fantastic adventure, not least as it was their summer, so got a taste of heat and greenery! Oh and had a quick stop over in Singapore; which was very hot and tropical!

In the spirit of thinking about the summer, I decided to sow my summer seeds - Cucumber, Onions, Tomato, Aubergine (first time I have grown these) and Peppers.

Been buying my 2015 collection of seeds from Suttons Seeds [http://www.suttons.co.uk/] - great collection of seeds and have always had good results. I tend to choose the same varieties every year as the varieties I choose like my local conditions, climate and/or are disease tolerant/resistant. Reliability matters when growing veg - why waste your time!

I haven't bought all my seeds as have some left over from last year - as do most gardeners - but really old seeds are less reliable so this is a re-stock too.
